Take a readable photo
Lay the menu flat. Keep page edges visible and small text readable when zoomed. Glare, shadows and tilted shots can distort prices. Inspect the photo before uploading.
LogMenu accepts JPEG, PNG and WEBP images up to 10 MB. For a PDF menu, prepare a clear page image; the image uploader does not accept a PDF file.
First credit: create the draft
A verified trial account receives two AI credits in total. A photo or URL import uses one. When it finishes, review the extracted categories and products. Failed jobs return the credit.
Second credit: request a focused revision
For example, ask “Separate hot and iced coffees; keep all products and prices.” The second message works from the last AI draft. Combine compatible requests in one clear message.
Manual review edits use no credit. AI revisions start from the last AI result, so do not assume your latest manual changes automatically enter that request.
Check before publication
- Check decimal and thousands separators carefully.
- Confirm each price belongs to the right product.
- Verify ingredients, portions and allergens from business records.
- Deselect products you do not want to import.
- Review category order on a phone, then publish.
