How NFC and QR work together
Both can open the same menu. NFC uses a tap; QR uses the phone camera. NFC settings, antenna position and phone cases can affect the experience.
If a guest’s phone cannot read the NFC tag, they can scan the QR code. Offering both is a practical choice for table service.
A link with table context
LogMenu associates an NFC tag with a business and a table. Supported ordering and service modules can use that context. Guests need no membership just to view the menu. Manage menu links and tag assignments from your dashboard.
Stand or plate?
A stand keeps the access point visible. A plate takes less space and can be applied to a suitable surface. Consider table material, cleaning routine and reach.
- Choose a stand when upright visibility matters.
- Consider a plate for a smaller table or fixed surface.
- Test NFC and QR with several phones before installation.
